ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Lê Thị Hiền's "Sen" presents a captivating visual dialogue between tradition and modernity, tranquility and chromatic vitality. Three stylized lotus forms, rendered in an arresting fuchsia pink, stand proudly on a verdant lawn beside a misty lake. This potent contrast between the sculptures' vibrant hue and the serene natural backdrop – ancient trees, ethereal waterscape – creates a spectacular focal point. The work not only honors the pure beauty of the lotus but also evokes its tenacious spirit and resilience, reanimating a familiar setting with a boldly contemporary artistic language. It offers a sophisticated meditation on cultural syncretism and enduring beauty, inviting viewers to a moment of contemplative wonder.
