ABOUT THE ARTWORK

Lê Thị Hiền’s Inclined Symmetry is a profound exploration of balance and subtle deviation, masterfully rendered in pristine white marble. The artist sculpts a monolithic form, centrally recessed with a precise yet gently inclined geometry, thereby subverting strict bilateral symmetry. This deliberate "inclination" not only generates a unique visual rhythm but also orchestrates an interplay of light and shadow, profoundly enhancing the three-dimensionality and revealing the inherent beauty of the marble's veins. The sculpture stands as a testament to technical prowess and philosophical depth, fostering a silent dialogue between geometric purity and organic fluidity, inviting contemplation on the harmonious tension between structure and natural variation.
