The exhibition “MATERIA RENATA – RENEWED MATTER, REBORN SUBSTANCE” by artist Nguyễn Quốc Dân at the Vincom Center for Contemporary Art (VCCA) showcases over 50 sculptures and installations crafted from recycled materials. The exhibition aims to raise awareness about environmental pollution and modern consumer culture, while re-establishing the relationship between humans, materials, and nature. The artworks utilize discarded items such as bottle caps, electronic components, old mannequins, fabric scraps, and plastic waste, transforming them into diverse forms like paintings, sculptures, and large-scale installations. Nguyễn Quốc Dân describes his style as Anti-Cubism, characterized by the use of colorful wires, industrial scrap, and unconventional geometry. This exhibition serves not merely as a style but as a statement affirming the value of overlooked objects. Curator Đỗ Tường Linh highlights the resilient life beneath layers of plastic. The exhibition is structured around two thematic lines of work: weathered plastics found on shorelines and waste from the fashion industry. Through art, the exhibition seeks to disseminate a positive spirit of regeneration, not only for materials but also for mindset, behavior, and community consciousness, fostering sustainable internal change.

The "Hồi Cố Vọng Lai" or "Retrospective of Vision" exhibition is the first event to gather three prominent artists representing Vietnamese Fine Arts during the Đổi Mới period: Lý Trực Sơn, Ca Lê Thắng, and Đào Minh Tri. Held from September 13, 2025, to October 26, 2025, at the Vincom Center for Contemporary Art (VCCA), the exhibition showcases 100 paintings, celebrating their enduring creative journey and significant influence on modern Vietnamese art. This event also pays tribute to the 100th anniversary of the Vietnam University of Fine Arts (1925 – 2025). The three artists, all graduates of the Vietnam College of Fine Arts, bring local memories, materials, and symbols to create unique artistic worldviews. The exhibition is not just a collection of works but also a "map" reflecting the interplay between local, historical, and global contexts, as well as an effort to forge an independent "Vietnamese art language," looking back to shape the future. VCCA will also host diverse experiential activities such as art talks and exhibition tours.

The digital exhibition "Her Soul, His Verse" | "Bóng hình em, Vần thơ anh," organized by the Vincom Center for Contemporary Art (VCCA), presents a vibrant symphony of light, symbols, and poetry. The exhibition features over 200 representative works from the Pre-Raphaelite school, an art movement that originated in England in the mid-19th century by John Everett Millais, William Holman Hunt, Dante Gabriel Rossetti, and their associates. This group of artists rebelled against rigid academic norms, seeking a primal visual truth and spiritual depth in painting. The exhibition offers a multi-sensory experience, inviting visitors to explore the poetic journey of the Pre-Raphaelite masters and contemplate the expanding layers of meaning at the intersection of art and life. It is part of VCCA's annual "World Classics Exhibition Series," aiming to popularize fundamental human cultural and artistic values through digital projection methods. VCCA will also host satellite events such as talks, art tours, and workshops.

Thắm Lại brings together four artists – Tường Danh, Như Xuân Hứa, Anh-Phuong Nguyen, and Vân-Nhi Nguyễn – to explore desire as a process, tracing the unspoken aspirations of women that have subtly shaped Vietnamese culture over centuries. The exhibition's title, taken from a line in Hồ Xuân Hương's poem "Mời ăn trầu" (Invitation to Chew Betel), evokes the idea of 'thắm lại' (to redden again): a deepening hue, a repeated stain accumulating through desire. The exhibition delves into 'duyên' – a predetermined bond – and its expression through women's actions, both historically and in the present. The artists examine the experiences of girlhood and womanhood, Vietnamese mythology, and various forms of labor undertaken by women, from traditional crafts to domestic work and emotional labor. 'Thắm Lại' celebrates the contributions of Vietnamese women in preserving and transforming culture, while posing questions about what endures and accumulates over time, as the red hue continues to deepen with each return.
