“T H I N S P A C E” marks the first solo exhibition by Irish artist Cian Duggan at Gallery Quynh, showcasing his distinctive ongoing series of UV prints on acrylic. The title refers to liminal spaces where boundaries between human and nonhuman, animate and inanimate, natural and artificial forms co-exist, echoing the “thin places” in Celtic mythology. Drawing from memory, realities, and time, Duggan crafts dreamlike terrains featuring figures in flux, suspended between growth and decay. The exhibition delves into the impermanence of the body and materiality, the constant fluidity of boundaries, and invites viewers into a profound contemplation of presence and absence.
