The color palette of vermilion, black, gray, green, and areas of gold and silver metallic hues creates a strong yet balanced contrast. The black upper section opens up a sense of tranquil depth, while the red in the foreground brings warmth and a sense of life. The outlines, streaks of light, and rough surfaces guide the viewer's eye through layers of space, like a journey from the outside into the heart of the village. The layering, polishing, and intermingling of glossy and rough surfaces highlight the distinctive characteristics of lacquer.
