ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Mina Ho Ferrante's "Ký họa tuổi thơ" (Childhood Sketch) is an exquisite oil on canvas, masterfully weaving together realism and the whimsical realm of childhood. The composition presents an intimate family tableau, with figures warmly nestled on a richly patterned sofa, each absorbed yet intrinsically linked. The artist's meticulous brushwork captures the radiant joy of the father and the innocent curiosity of the children, evoking a profound sense of domestic warmth and togetherness. The background, adorned with childlike drawings, serves as a delicate portal to pure, unadulterated imagination. Through a harmonious and vibrant palette, Ferrante not only celebrates the beauty of familial bonds but also immortalizes these ordinary yet sacred moments, shimmering like cherished fragments of memory.
