Dương Sen (Dương Văn Sen)
(1949 – )Artist Duong Sen (b. 1949) is a master of Vietnamese lacquer art, who skillfully forges a refined bridge between profound national aesthetics and the spirit of Decorative Modernism. His works distill classical beauty from the palette of Vietnamese communal houses and cultural heritage, while simultaneously articulating an aspiration towards a contemporary visual language. Through his practice, he preserves cultural memory and imbues the lacquer medium with new vitality, shaping a unique and timeless style.
